The partner institutions of the 3D-IMP-ACT project and the IPA CBC program Italy-Albania-Montenegro started today working on the Archaeological Park of Apollonia for the 3D digital mapping of monuments of this ancient settlement. The digitalization of some monuments in Albania, Montenegro and Italy will be one of the results of this project guided by Polytechnic University of Bari.

The investigation campaign concerned the acquisition of 360° panoramic photos in specific areas of the castle, in order to create a virtual immersive tour of the fortress, as well as the acquisition of high-resolution images and videos for the reconstruction of architectural elements with a cultural interest, also by the support of drones (UAV).
